Firstly the team at Oakley would like to wish you Season’s Greetings throughout the festive period. With the close of 2013 insight, now seems as good a time to have a recap of the key events throughout the year, from a leading Sage Business Partner.

 

2013 has been full of eventful times for us at Oakley. We have steadily grown our brand and raised our profile as a leading Sage Business Partner through a combined strategy of exhibiting at and attending events, providing regular newsletter communications and arranging a number of Seminars throughout the year.

 

Key Events of 2013

Winter

Sage Accpac ERP renamed as Sage 300 ERP

We have seen a name change of one of our leading International ERP solutions Sage Accpac ERP toSage 300 ERP. This is the result of a corporate rebrand at Sage to bring Sage Accpac back in line with the Sage product range. So when those of you using an older version of Sage Accpac such as version 5.6 or 6.0 come to upgrade, you will find that you will be looking to switch over to Sage 300 version 6.1 and no longer referring to it as Accpac.

 

Spring

Sage CRM 7.2 Released

Sage CRM 7.2 launched towards the end of the first quarter of the year. Introducing a range of new updates and features the solution is available on its own or integrated with Sage 50, Sage 200 and Sage 300 ERP.

 

Summer

VATpac Launches – our VAT add-on for Sage 300 ERP

VATpac for Sage 300 was launched in July by Oakley and is a Sage 300 add-on, automating the delivery of VAT Submissions and reporting to the HMRC online.

 

Sage 200 2013 Launches

Sage 200 2013 was launched in the summer bringing a range of new features and functionality. One of the key differentiators was the freedom and flexibility of a range of deployment methods and pricing plans. With the choice to either purchase software upfront or subscribe on a monthly basis and whether to deploy via hosted, via the cloud or implemented on your servers.

 

Sage 200 2013 sees the launch of Sage 200 Online

The introduction and launch of Sage 200 Online has seen the flexibility of Sage 200 Accounting software further enhanced by the introduction of a Cloud based solution…Sage 200 Online. Get the powerful financial modules of Sage 200 via a manageable monthly payment.

 

Autumn/Winter

Sage 200 Seminars

We arranged in Partnership with Sage UK a series of Sage 200 Seminars held in London. These Sage 200 Seminars were well attended and provided the perfect introduction to Mid Market accounting with our Sage 200 experts in a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

 

Oakley Exhibits at The Business Show in June and November 2013

We exhibited at both Great British Business Shows in 2013 opposite the Sage UK stand. We had our “doctors” out on the stand offering remedies to Accounting Software Headaches. We were delighted to meet so many enthusiastic business owners and business professionals at one of the key business shows in the calendar year.
