Using Sage 300 (Accpac)? Do you have a backup plan?
Thursday November 28, 2013

Do you have a plan in place to reduce the impact of an otherwise costly data loss in your Sage 300 (formerly Sage Accpac) system?

Data loss is sadly a far more common issue than you may think and with just a few simple solutions you can reduce the impact and damage to your business.

The Strategic Research Institute estimates, “Companies that aren’t able to resume operations within ten days (of a disaster hit) are not likely to survive.” While this may be an extreme example of data loss, it goes without saying that you should be prepared with a Sage 300 Backup plan (Accpac Backup).

We have devised the following Sage 300 backup action plans to consider:

  1. Talk to your service provider and determine what provisions you have for data backups. Make sure you put an agreement in place for regular backups to be conducted.
  2. Get a Business backup plan review with our Technical consultants to run you through an action plan and provide guidance on the best route for your business.
  3. Take control and ensure regular backups of your data with the BACCPAC add-on for Sage 300 (formerly Accpac). This is fully compliant with the latest versions of Sage 300/Accpac 5.6, 6.0 and 6.1.

If you would like to ask any questions about Sage 300 (Accpac) data backups, contact us on 01268 724005 or email info@o-net.co.uk and either ask us for a backup review, how to get BACCPAC Added to your system or any other questions.
