Sage Accpac is a leading international business management software that was renamed Sage 300 in 2012. As at Oakley ERP we used to be referred to as a Sage Accpac Business Partner but would now be called a Sage 300 Business Partner, we thought it best to provide a clarification. So whether you are new to the product or are familiar with the Sage 300 or Sage Accpac terminology. We thought we would share a little product history with you.
Accpac evolved out of a product originally called Easy Business Systems. When Computer Associates purchased the product they developed it further and renamed it Accpac. This stood for 'A Complete and Comprehensive Program for Accounting Control'. This led to an increase in popularity predominantly out of North America and Canada. Accpac soon evolved to become an international business accounting software used by businesses around the world, due to its superior multi-national functionality.
Sage acquired the product in 2006 and renamed it Sage Accpac ERP. At Oakley we have been providing the product as a Sage Accpac Business Partner since 2006 but more than that we have been providing the Accpac product since before Sage purchased it.
Our Technical Director Phil Draper has been around the product for 30 years and is considered internally and among our customer base as our guru when it comes to Accpac Setup and Installation.
If you know of Oakley as a Sage Accpac Business Partner then rest assured we are still here providing the same product but with the new revolutionary enhancements and naming convention of Sage 300. So if Accpac is what you are after you would now be looking for a Sage 300 Business Partner such as us.
